Halal status and menu coverage are different
A public status label explains the evidence behind a claim. Menu coverage explains whether that claim applies to the whole menu, selected meats or selected dishes.
Status answers why Amanah is showing the claim
Halal Certified, Halal Restaurant Claimed, Community Confirmed, Community Suggested and Halal Status Unknown describe the evidence state for a branch. They should not be used as shorthand for every detail a diner cares about.
A branch can have a strong status label and still need clear coverage details. For example, certification may cover the whole menu, a kitchen process or a specific supplier relationship depending on the source.
Coverage answers what the claim covers
Coverage should say whether the information applies to the entire menu, selected meats, selected dishes or an unknown scope. This keeps a chicken-only claim from sounding like a full-menu claim.
Alcohol, pork and preparation details should sit beside the coverage, not inside the status label. Diners can then decide using the facts that matter to them.
