Amanah policy
Amanah treats location, account, contribution and analytics data as sensitive. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it and how people can ask us to correct or delete their data.
Location is used only when a person chooses a location-based journey, such as near-me search or route planning. Amanah uses it to return nearby halal food results and does not use background location tracking.
Account data, such as email address, user identifiers and saved places, is used to provide sign-in, saved restaurants, contribution history, partner claims and account security.
Contribution data, including reviews, corrections, reports, place submissions, evidence text and uploaded evidence photos, is used to improve restaurant information and support moderation.
Product analytics records page views, searches, restaurant interactions, outbound clicks and client errors so Amanah can understand reliability, demand and product quality. Analytics is first-party and is not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Amanah may process search terms, approximate areas, restaurant slugs, outbound link categories, device/browser context and diagnostic details. Precise coordinates are used for the requested search response and should not be stored as a permanent location history.
Data is stored only for as long as needed for product functionality, moderation, audit, safety, legal obligations and service improvement. People can request access, correction or deletion by contacting support@amanahapp.co.
Privileged credentials and operational data must stay server-side. Amanah does not sell personal data and does not permit paid restaurant activity to influence halal trust status.
